The 2016 NCAA Tournament is a good year to go with favorite colors, uniforms, mascots or just let your cat do the picking. The field is that muddled. The reason for that is this year is just not the typical NCAA year. Usually there are a few powerhouse teams one can point to and assume they’ll be around for the final 4. No such team this year. We still have a few weeks left but the 2015-16 NBA season is upon us. There is nothing in the world as difficult as picking a perfect NCAA tournament bracket. Even all the brilliant analysis and inside information in the world won’t save a bracket if a few shots don’t bounce your way. NBA Preview 2014-15: Western Conference

Predicting the best of the Eastern Conference isn’t too difficult but the west is a different story. With seven 50+ win teams, the conference is oozing with realistic contenders but the best of the best was clearly defined by the end of the year. Three teams led the west in and those same teams also had the most impressive SRS ratings: the Spurs, the Clippers, and the Thunder. It took a year for us to get right back where we left off at the end of 2012-13, Heat v. Spurs, the rematch. Let’s run through the some interesting tidbits about the rematch. As I’m sure is the case with a lot of other self-appointed experts, this billion dollar bracket has gotten my attention. Because of this I have spent more time analyzing the 2014 tournament than normal.
