Today is part two of our franchise review of likely and potential Hall of Famers.  Part 1, the Atlantic Division, (and our rules of review) can be found here.  Today, we move on to the Central Division…. This year I’m going to start an occasional look at the top candidates for Rookie-of-the-year. While it’s kind of silly to start projecting the outcome of such awards in November, it might help me with the draft previews to keep a closer look at the rookies. NBA 2013 Preview: Who Will Win the ROY?

The 2013 rookie class looks weak to me. Anthony Davis is the only sure thing in the group and that makes him an easy top choice. I mention other players as rookies to watch. Some will probably go on to have solid careers, but Anthony Davis is the story of the 2012 draft and the rookie class of 2013. I doubt many other 2013 rookies will make much of a ripple in the league.
