Tyreke Evans has recently been suspended for two years for violating the NBA’s drug policy for use of a non-performance enhancement substance. The perception of drug use of NBA players has changed quite a bit over the users. It was a huge issue in the 1970s and 1980s when many articles speculated that hard drug use was a pervasive problem. We continue with part two of our fall out column…. -Utah Jazz: The spanking by the Rockets obscured a pretty good season. The Jazz were arguably the third or fourth best team in the West but had the bad luck of drawing Houston earlier than expected due to Houston’s early slump. So, the Utah season ended with a 4-1 Rockets win, just like last season, albeit one round earlier. As the first round of the playoffs winds down, we turn to our annual fall out report for the losers. Since half of the West is still playing, today, we’ll start with the East: -Indiana Pacers: Before the Victor Oladipo injury, the Pacers were a legit threat to the top teams in the East. Another Golden State-centric playoffs is upon us and the major question is the same: can anyone beat GS?
